Hitec Welding Brisbane provided fabrication (piping, vessel and structural), NDT and surface treatment services for the first Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) installed by SANTOS in their CSG fields. In addition, Hitec Welding Brisbane were engaged to review and updated all associated piping drawings with regards to dimensions and visit the work site to confirm well head orientations and heights to allow for associated well head spooling to be completed.
The CSG production facility consisted of two PCP down hole pumps and one ESP (Electric Submersible Pump). Hitec Welding Brisbane supplied all associated cross lease piping from well head, inter connecting spooling, inlet-metering skid, discharge metering skid, fuel gas skid and associated structural walk-overs and shelter . Vessel dimensions were 10m long x 1.6m diameter and pipe spooling ranged from 20NB to 250NB, 600lb piping class.
