HITEC Welding has successfully executed the design and manufacture of approximately 3,000 stainless steel pipe spool arrangements consisting of:
-High and Low Point Vents
-Gas and Water Risers
-Transition Pipe Spools
For the Fluor SANTOS GLNG Coal Seam Gas Project.
The project showcases the HITEC Welding commitment to providing a diverse range of engineering and fabrication services. HITEC Welding Brisbane developed an alternative to the standard carbon steel flow line low point drains, risers and transition spools. Through technical and financial evaluation the alternative has been considered and is now currently in progress and practice. The alternative involved substituting the previous carbon steel sections with stainless steel providing time and cost savings to our client.
This design input by HITEC Welding Brisbane into the overall project has saved both time and cost to the client and further more providing a more durable final product.
HITEC Welding Brisbane commenced works in early 2012 and completed the contract scope by end of year 2012. HITEC Welding has also designed and developed its own unique hydro-testing and pneumatic testing station. The testing station allows for multiple risers to be tested at a single time reducing final end costs to the client.
